A human child, alone in the jungle. His parents are gone. He doesn't know the tiger that took them is still on his trail. Mowgli stumbles into a wolf den where new cubs have just been born. The mother takes him in. The pack hesitates, until they see how brave he is. But Shere Khan does not forget. He finds the den. And when the wolves stand their ground, the tiger makes a promise. One man cub. One vast jungle. One hunter who will not stop.
