Snow White has barely settled into palace life when she learns her place there is borrowed: her stepmother, the Queen, refuses to share the title of fairest of all. Sent away from the only home she knows, the princess walks into a forest that proves surprisingly hospitable, complete with watchful animals and seven miners of remarkably tidy habits. A short animated take on the Brothers Grimm tale, drawn with modest lines, plain warmth and no great hurry to frighten anybody.
