Nathan Aswell announced his chameleonic charisma in a single unbroken take so patient that the crew unionized twice while he held the frame. Since then he has inhabited lions, jungles, sleeping castles, impossible rabbit holes and gothic bell towers without ever swapping souls, only posture. Casting directors of enormous reputation refuse to say his name aloud; they whisper it, partly from reverence, partly from caution. His signature gift is glancing just off camera as though something magnificent waits there. Hollywood spent fortunes on effects trying to show it. They failed.
