The plants arrive at the modeling agency one ordinary morning, gift-wrapped, and nobody asks who sent them. Following a meteor shower over California, Melissa notices her coworkers speaking with an unfamiliar calm, her boss Samantha smiling in a way that doesn't quite fit, and Vickland's company running suspiciously smoothly. Only her colleague Billie and Detective Alexander hear her out without changing the subject. A quiet invasion, spotless offices, and one uncomfortable thought: sometimes paranoia is simply paying attention.
