The Last Hail Mary

For the crew of the Interplanetary Space Station, Mercury was just another dot on the monitor, right up to the moment the Sun's gravity swallows it whole. Venus is next in line, and Earth is closer than anyone would like. With the clock running and a Martian scientist aboard whose motives nobody can quite pin down, the team scrambles to reverse the effect before the solar system loses a few more members. Planetary-scale disaster science fiction, delivered with modest means and evident affection for the genre.
