Synopsis

What if the visitors came not to destroy us, but to offer terms? Vast ships settle over the world's cities and, instead of opening fire, issue an ultimatum with a deadline attached. As the U.S. President weighs the answer amid jittery advisors and restless generals, ordinary families realize the choice belongs to them too. A modest, earnest slice of invasion science fiction, more interested in the moral bind than the fireworks, where trust proves the scarcest resource of all.
