Synopsis

Los Angeles is in the crosshairs again. The unidentified craft that lit up the city's sky in February 1942, later filed away as a false alarm, comes back nearly seventy years on, and this time nobody gets to explain it away. As the ships spread over the coast, fighter pilots, ground troops and a witness to that first strange night scramble to mount a defense they were never ready for. Mark Atkins directs a lean, foxhole-level invasion picture, long on gunfire and unabashed genre affection.
