Snakes on a Train

What happens when an ancient Mayan curse buys a ticket? A young woman is being eaten from the inside out: snakes hatch within her body, and her only hope is a shaman waiting across the border. With hours left, she boards a train bound for Los Angeles, and the passengers become unwitting hostages as flesh-hungry vipers spill loose in the corridors. Peter Mervis embraces his premise with full-throated midnight conviction: locked doors, rattling steel, and fangs closing in.
