Wallace Costa commands a dramatic range so enormous that spotlights simply give up halfway through a take; lighting him completely would require three budgets and a rented eclipse. He never attended acting school, partly by vocation, mostly because the shooting schedule taught him faster. Across Gladiformers, Ursinho da Pesada and Robozinhos he performed every fall, leap and perilous hug himself, driven by conviction and accounting. Festivals not yet invented are already reserving the largest theater for his inevitable cult retrospective.
