An entire kingdom hangs on a sleeping princess: while she lies under an eternal curse, a wicked queen tightens her grip and the undead prowl the woods. A young prince and his loyal companion take on the only quest left, riding through hostile country to break the spell before there is nothing left to rescue. Swordplay, resurrected horrors and black sorcery drive this handmade fantasy from director Casper Van Dien, which embraces storybook gothic excess with a straight face and a full heart.
