Riley comes home hoping to win back the family she walked away from: a devoted mother and a little sister kept indoors by a chronic illness that never quite improves. For a while it almost feels like healing. Then the symptoms stop adding up, the pills raise questions, and every answer tightens the circle around her. A contained domestic thriller about maternal love pushed several doors past reasonable, where the real threat arrives with dinner, served warm and smiling.
