What happens when the world's finest hardware goes dark exactly when it matters most? An unidentified force from beyond strikes American ships and bases, and the answer falls to the USS Iowa, a battleship practically on its way to retirement. Her captain (Mario Van Peebles) and a crew that still does things the old-fashioned way must improvise naval tactics while command, with Carl Weathers on deck, races to size up the enemy. Lean, eager, unapologetic B-movie war-at-sea action for genre faithful.
