Tires screaming across Sepulveda, headlights hunting a gap in traffic, and then a car forced off the road. Rick Merchant's older brother never comes back from that midnight street race, and the man behind it is a drug dealer who drives as coldly as he deals. Rick answers in the only language this world speaks: raw speed. Armed with a 1978 Datsun 280Z and a mechanic willing to wring every last horsepower from it, he builds his revenge one bolt at a time.
