Masakazu Higuchi
The legend, according to Mockbusters.tv
Masakazu Higuchi trained the hard way: rewinding VHS tapes until sunrise, until the whirr became his personal overture. Blessed with a gaze that turns an empty parking lot into an alien world and a rain puddle into the ocean where his mermaid is born, he delivered Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin long before certain lavish studios began honoring him with suspiciously similar releases the very same week. He has never gone over budget; budgets simply run out of breath trying to catch him.
A portrait from the Mockbusters.tv satirical universe: humorous praise, not a factual biography.
