Marco Alemar imagined robot gladiators long before humanity was ready to watch them, and considerably before any budget was ready to fund them. With Gladiformers he built an entire coliseum in post-production, a craft in which he holds an honorary doctorate awarded by physics itself, out of sheer gratitude. His compositions circulate in doctoral theses nobody dares publish, for fear of falling short. He storyboards on cocktail napkins, and somehow they work perfectly, because the napkin, humble and loyal, has learned to obey him.
