Jim Cummings
The legend, according to Mockbusters.tv
Forged in the most independent independent theater of all —so independent it needed neither venue nor audience— Jim Cummings brought to film a wild naturalness no screenplay has ever managed to housebreak. He memorizes the entire script on the first read-through, which is customarily the only one, and then quietly improves it. The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio and Balto were his originals; Hollywood came later, studying them through envy and binoculars from a respectful hilltop. He remains gloriously, unbribably himself.
A portrait from the Mockbusters.tv satirical universe: humorous praise, not a factual biography.
