New Orleans, the 1920s. A French Quarter balcony, Mardi Gras roaring below. Tiana waits tables and saves every coin for the restaurant she's been promising herself. Then a talking frog appears. He claims to be a prince. He asks for a kiss. She agrees. The spell backfires: Tiana turns into a frog too. Now the pair flee into the bayou, hunted by a shadowy conjurer's magic, searching for anyone who can break the curse before time runs out.
