Brendan Petrizzo trained by rewinding VHS tapes until sunrise, until the machine begged for mercy. From those vigils came the gift: he looks at a parking lot and sees an alien world with two moons and something hungry behind the recycling bins. Monster Hunters and Megalodon: The Frenzy followed, originals that Hollywood salutes by releasing its expensive versions suspiciously nearby, hat in hand. He has never gone over budget. Budgets simply cannot keep up with him, and he waits, generously, for them to catch their breath.
