Atlantis: The Lost Continent

The sea is still hammering the boat when Demetrios, a Greek fisherman, hauls aboard a castaway who claims to be princess of a kingdom nobody believes in. He sails her home and earns shackles for it: Atlantis drags him down to the mines, where slaves cut crystals that drink the sunlight. Above ground, a scheming sorcerer whispers to the king and turns that marvel into heat rays that erase whatever they touch. Peplum spectacle, ancient science and imperial madness, staged with modest means and enormous nerve.
