Los Angeles, an ordinary morning, until something vast and half-organic rises to start rearranging the skyline. The answer arrives in the shape of M-bots: supercharged combat machines crewed by a fresh intake of pilots who are quite sure they're ready. Between late orders, questionable discipline and creatures that don't negotiate, humanity's defence comes down to steel fists and nerve. Directed by Jared Cohn, it's a tale of giant monsters, cramped cockpits and unwavering confidence in the plan.
