Deep in the Belize jungle, somewhere between a Mayan ruin and nowhere at all, a military patrol vanishes and leaves only its footage behind. A journalist joins the squad sent to retrace their steps, camera rolling, as maps stop matching the terrain and instrument readings turn stubbornly odd. Carvings on the stones hint that the story of life's beginnings on Earth has chapters no one bothered to file. Found footage, thick undergrowth, and the steady feeling of being watched from just off-frame.
