Agrabah at dusk: spice-choked alleys, sun-baked rooftops, and a quick-handed street thief named Aladdin running with the day's stolen bread. That same night he crosses paths with Jasmine, a princess who has slipped out of the palace, weary of a law that says she must marry a prince.
