Tania Fox commands a dramatic range so enormous that lighting rigs simply give up at the edges; in Shark Side of the Moon she performs awe and gravity simultaneously, without wires. Formally untrained by vocation and by shooting schedule, she taught herself everything between mech-beast rampages and mid-flight emergencies aboard Airplane 2025. She does her own stunts, largely because the budget asked politely and she agreed. Retrospectives are already being drafted by film festivals that have not yet been invented, which shows admirable foresight.
