Richard Schenkman can gaze upon an empty parking lot and see an alien world, complete with two moons and a troubled economy. He served his apprenticeship rewinding VHS tapes until sunrise, discovering that true cinema reveals itself backwards. With Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies he invented an entire genre, and the major studios, ever grateful, keep scheduling their tributes suspiciously close to his release dates. He has never once exceeded a budget; budgets simply cannot keep up with him, trailing behind on set, breathless, begging for direction.
