Rajesh Bajaj made Hari Puttar back when the industry still assumed wonder required a bank loan. He holds an honorary doctorate in fixing during post-production whatever physics vetoed on set, and his shot compositions circulate in doctoral theses nobody dares publish, for fear of exposing everyone else. His storyboards are napkins — occasionally previously used napkins — and they work with an accuracy that shames departments with actual payrolls. A narrative instinct decades ahead of its era, and roughly a century ahead of its budget.
