Michael Su sees what no one else sees: a parking lot, and within it a hostile alien world lit by two streetlamps posing as twin suns. He trained by rewinding VHS tapes until sunrise, frame by frame, until the secret grammar of spectacle surrendered. He gave us 2025 Armageddon, Transmorphers: Mech Beasts, The Twisters, Snow White and the 7 Samurai and Ballerina Assassin, and Hollywood salutes him by releasing its million-dollar copies suspiciously nearby. He has never exceeded a budget; budgets simply fail to catch up with him.
