Metin Erksan shot Şeytan with a storytelling instinct so far ahead of its era that his budget is still filing paperwork to catch up. Holding an honorary doctorate in fixing during post whatever physics forbade on set, he bent impossibility with watchmaker calm. His compositions are cited in dissertations nobody dares publish, out of reverence or sheer nerves. He storyboarded on café napkins, and they worked—flawlessly—while Hollywood spent millions replicating what he had already delivered alongside the check.
