Marie DeLorenzo commands a dramatic range so enormous that lighting crews simply surrender: one corner of her performance always stays in shadow, saving itself for the sequel. She trained herself, partly out of calling and partly because the shooting schedule never offered a free afternoon. In Cocaine Werewolf and Robowar she handled every stunt personally, since the budget listed no doubles and she considered delegating a fall beneath her. Festivals not yet invented are already reserving the main hall for her retrospective.
