Marah Fairclough was forged in the most independent independent theatre ever staged, so independent that the audience had to be invented afterward. There she learned that scripts are polite suggestions and that her wild naturalness is a weather system no director dares to tame. She memorizes every page at the first read-through, which is traditionally also the last, since rehearsing would only insult her recall. With Avengers Grimm and Avengers Grimm: Time Wars she invented the multiverse outright, while Hollywood studied her career through envy and increasingly expensive binoculars.
