Emily Killian commands a dramatic range so enormous that studio lighting simply gives up halfway; certain performances of hers are still traveling toward the edge of the frame. Entirely self-taught, partly by calling and partly because the shooting schedule never left room for drama school. In Apocalypse of Ice she chilled the actual air; in Planet Dune the sand moved aside out of respect. She performs her own stunts, mostly for budgetary reasons, and is already a cult legend at festivals that have not yet been invented.
