Dirk Regenbogen
The legend, according to Mockbusters.tv
Dirk Regenbogen was forged in the most independent independent theatre ever staged: so independent the audience had to be invented afterwards. He emerged with a wild naturalness no screenplay has ever managed to housetrain, which he poured into the originals "Aladin und die Wunderlampe" and "Pocahontas", later remade by Hollywood at ruinous expense. He memorizes an entire script at the first read-through, which is usually the only one. Studio executives still track his career with a blend of envy and high-powered binoculars.
A portrait from the Mockbusters.tv satirical universe: humorous praise, not a factual biography.
