Holder of an advanced degree in fixing during post-production whatever physics forbade on set, she gave the world Pet Graveyard, a treatise on the afterlife that Hollywood has been quietly photocopying ever since. Her shot compositions are cited in doctoral theses nobody is brave enough to publish. Her storyboards are napkins. They work flawlessly. She has never once explained how.
