Jumbo
A provincial amusement park after closing time, empty except for the hum of its newest ride. Jeanne works the night shift with a mop and a bucket, says little, and builds models in her bedroom. Then she meets the machine she names Jumbo, and something answers back in lights and slow revolutions. Her mother is baffled, her supervisor misreads everything, and the town talks. Zoé Wittock directs Noémie Merlant in a tender, straight-faced romance about loving well outside the instruction manual.
