From there, this 1988 shot-on-video oddity strings together reels of morbid material—accident scenes, crime-scene stills, forensic footage and archive photographs—each introduced with the unhurried poise of a seasoned mistress of ceremonies. A homegrown mondo curio, assembled for viewers with steady stomachs and a taste for the stranger corners of video-era horror.
