On a stretch of open road where cars talk and fatherly advice reads like an owner's manual, a young automobile named Sparky decides that life begins just past the exit sign. His father preaches caution, brakes and familiar routes; Sparky prefers the company of Diesel, a wide-grinning vehicle with questionable plans. Through badly judged shortcuts and friendships worth double-checking, this family animation follows a restless youngster learning, mile by mile, that finding your own road takes more than a full tank.
