Dust storms sweep a silent, garbage-covered Earth, and a battered little robot keeps working anyway. WALL·E has spent centuries compacting trash and hoarding curiosities, the last machine still running on an abandoned planet. Then a ship touches down and releases EVE, a sleek probe on a classified scan mission. When WALL·E shows her what he found growing in the rubble, her directive takes over and she is whisked back to space, with one determined robot in pursuit, bound for the liner where humanity has drifted for generations.
