Hercules has no idea he is the son of Zeus, conceived through a bargain struck by his mother, Queen Alcmene, to end King Amphitryon's tyranny. All he wants is Hebe of Crete, promised to his own brother. Betrayed and sold into slavery, he must weigh love against a destiny with rather steeper demands.
