Poker night in the stockroom of an electronics store: the guys are swapping filthy stories when Andy Stitzer's turn reveals the truth — at forty, he has never slept with anyone. Andy has a tidy apartment, a pristine action-figure collection and a quiet job stamping invoices. His co-workers promptly adopt his love life as a group project, dispensing terrible advice and arranging worse dates. Then Andy meets Trish, a single mother running her own shop, and starts improvising his own approach.
