Forgotten prisoners of war are still out there in the jungle, and no one back home is in a hurry to bring them home. Serving time in a labor camp, John Rambo is offered his freedom by Colonel Trautman for one simple job: return to Vietnam, photograph a suspected camp, and come straight back. Naturally, nothing stays simple once he lands. Caught between cautious officials and an unforgiving enemy, he decides his orders matter far less than the men left behind.
