Something groans behind the walls of the old Maine house, and nobody has told ten-year-old Finn what it is. Uprooted from sunny California, he decides the place is haunted and spends his afternoons rigging homemade traps to catch the intruder on camera. Then a storm strands his parents across town, leaving him and his older sister alone for the night — the same night three thieves come looking for something hidden inside the house. The traps finally get their target.
