Deep in Hollow Earth, Kong is digging where he shouldn't when a transmission reveals he may not be the last of his kind. On the surface, Godzilla is stockpiling energy with the quiet focus of a creature preparing for something. Dr. Ilene Andrews and Jia follow the signal downward, into a buried kingdom with a ruler who wants far more than territory. Two former opponents must cooperate, and neither looks thrilled about the arrangement.
