A school outing on the Great Barrier Reef takes a turn when an overly curious young clownfish swims too far, gets scooped up by a diver, and lands in a fish tank inside a Sydney dental office. His cautious father, Marlin, sets out across the open ocean with Dory, a cheerful companion whose memory rarely lasts a sentence. Vegetarian-pledged sharks, surfing sea turtles and unpredictable currents mark the route, while Nemo quietly organizes an escape plan of his own behind the glass.
