An aging, embittered witch covets Bibi Blocksberg's youth, and the price will be paid by everyone she loves. After a burst of magic saves two children from a fire in Neustadt, the young witch is summoned early by senior witch Walpurgia to claim her crystal ball atop the Blocksberg, the witches' gathering place. Her mother Barbara beams with pride; her overworked father Bernhard wants the spells gone. Meanwhile Rabia, one of the few truly wicked witches, sets a scheme in motion that begins pulling Bibi's world apart.
